About Fabiana Serpa
I am a London based German-Brazilian Filmmaker.
I have a Bachelor Degree in Graphic Design, specialising in Moving Image and Photography from Central Saint Martins in London and a Master Degree in Film Studies from ZHdK in Zürich.
My background is in Motion Design and Post Production, where I have worked in the London Studio Momoco, and at São Paulo’s largest animation production company Lobo.cx/Vetor Zero. After a few years. I had the opportunity to start directing, mainly advertising and branded content for ParanoidBR, where one of the branded contents I co-directed won several awards, including a gold Lion in Cannes. Wanting to make a leap into Feature Films, moved back to Europe to continue my studies.
I now live in London working as a freelance Motion Graphics Designer and Video Editor, looking for collaborators for my ongoing film projects.

Synopsis
It is 1888 and Princess Therese of Bavarian, daughter of the ruling PrinceRegent Luitpold of Bavaria, undertakes a four month long expedition to Brazil,to collect plants, animals and insects for her studies.
She travels undercover andis accompanied by General Maximilian Freiherr Von Speidel and Baroness Franziska Von Lerchenfeld. They are on the last leg of their journey to Rio de Janeiro, where there are expected to arrive within 2 days, for a meeting with the Emperor Dom Pedro the second.
But when the scheduled train does not arrive,they hire a local guide, José Augusto to bring them through the jungle back totheir ship, when they face dangerous wild animals, heavy tropical rain and anunexpected sickness, which leads to sudden change of plans.
